Our Section evolved from its origins as a Chapter formed in 1981 to being an active part of the ASHRAE Gold Coast Chapter.
Our Section organizes technical seminars and social events for our ASHRAE Members and Student Members for professional growth and business development.
Our Section mentors two ASHRAE Student Branches at the Florida Institute of Technology and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
ASHRAE's mission is to serve humanity by advancing the arts and sciences of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration and their allied fields. The Society's vision is a healthy and sustainable built environment for all.
Formed on January 11, 1979, ASHRAE Region XII represents chapters from Florida, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.
Our Section is part of the ASHRAE Gold Coast Chapter, organizing events and representing ASHRAE member interests on Florida's East Coast spanning from Volusia County southward to Broward County.
Our Section mentors the ASHRAE Florida Institute of Technology Student Branch in Melbourne, FL.
Our Section mentors the ASHRAE Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Student Branch in Daytona Beach, FL.
