BRPH is 2019 Business of the Year finalist in FLORIDA TODAY Volunteer Recognition Awards

The ASHRAE Space Coast Chapter congratulates BRPH for being the 2019 Business of the Year finalist in Florida Today’s Volunteer Recognition Awards.

BRPH is an international full-service design firm located in Palm Shores, Florida. The company provides architectural, engineering, interior design, creative services, master planning, owner management, and sustainable design services, building on the vision of Ernest M. Briel, E. Harrison Rhame, Raymond Poynter, Jr., and Lyle M. Houser who founded the company over 50 years ago on the Space Coast.

Prominent projects that BRPH has completed on the Space Coast include the conversion of the Orbital Processing Facility 3 into the new Commercial Crew and Cargo Processing Facility, the Kennedy Space Center Launch Simulator ride, Kennedy Space Center’s Heroes & Legends exhibit, the Harris Technology Center, the Apollo 1 Memorial, the Harris Global Innovation Center, the Embraer Phenom Manufacturing and Delivery Center, the Eastern Florida State College Health Science and Public Safety Institutes, the Space Shuttle Atlantis Orbiter Home, and the Air Force Technical Applications Center. The firm has completed numerous projects outside of the Space Coast for Boeing, Jet Blue, and Universal Studios, and a myriad of other prominent clients.

As a company believing in giving back to the community, many members of the company have given back to ASHRAE through their service to the Space Coast Chapter and Region XII since the Chapter’s founding.

One of the founders of BRPH, Lyle M. Houser, was a Charter Member of the Chapter. Several BRPH employees served as Chapter President of the Chapter, including Brian Curtin, the current CEO of BRPH, Laing Conley, and Jeanne Jackson, our first female Chapter President. After her service as Chapter President, Jeanne continued to serve ASHRAE Region XII as the Young Engineers in ASHRAE (YEA) Regional Coordinator.
